Reading Challenge 2015
I am not going to read all of these books in one year. For me it is more like lifetime goal. I just need this to motivate myself into reading something not usual for me
If the same book fits more than one category, I will write it at all of them. (No, it's not cheating in order to finish challenge faster. At least I don't consider it as this

Some explanation about book titles which are in Lithuanian:
"Šiąnakt aš miegosiu prie sienos" by Giedra Radvilavičiūtė could be translated something like "Tonight I Am Sleeping at the Wall-Side of the Bed".
"Klubas nepatenkintų žmonomis" by Justas Pilyponis --> "The club for those, who are not satisfied with their wives".
"Mano nuostabioji drabužių spinta" by Claudia Piras and Bernhard Roetzel --> "My wonderful wardrobe". Original German title: "Mein wunderbarer kleiderschank".
"Mėlynų skritulių žmogus" by Fred Vargas --> "The Chalk Circle Man". Original French title: "L'homme aux cercles bleus".
"Velnių raistas" by George Sand --> original French title: "La Mare Au Diable".
"Paglostyk vėją" by Algimantas Zurba --> "Stroke the Wind".
"Mėnulio vaikai" by Jurga Ivanauskaitė --> "Children of the Moon".
Goodreads Reading Challenge
But I have also set up a more realistic reading challenge at Goodreads. Here I wish to read 10 books in 2015.
www.goodreads.com/challenges/3…I completed the challenge! Three books ahead of schedule
Knygų iššūkis
And I also participate in Lithuanian initiative Knygų iššūkis (Challenge of Books). Every participant has to make a list of 12 books (+ 2 alternatives) to read in a year.
At first I participated in 2013 and read 8 books.
Last year I completed 10 books.
So I hope this year will be even better
www.100knygu.lt/issukis/dalyvi…I am considering giving up this one. The website got new address, new look, new idea. Now it misses the things I liked and still has so many things not done in order to work properly. I feel that it tries to become Lithuanian version of GoodReads.
