Tree of Life

Some late Easter feel.
This is traditional Lithuanian way to dye eggs for Easter. Of course, in old times they used natural colours made of plants, and not bought at shop But image is not traditional.
How it was done:
1) White egg of hen was hard boiled;
2) Egg was put in yellow egg dye;
3) Then, most of stem was drawn with melted wax;
4) Egg was put in green eggs dye;
5) Finished stem and leaves with grass added;
6) Egg was put in red eggs dye;
7) Flowers and birds added;
8) Egg was put in blue dye;
9) Wax was shaved off;
10) To make a glossy look, egg was rubbed with oily cloth.
